The Internet ... An amazing place ... With lots and lots of interesting possibilities - the choices are yours! All but a ’click’ away. And AWAY you truly go – in more sense than one, farther than you might realize, with or without the fairies... (Notice how a building of a ’cyber force’ is actually a fleshed out idea (!!) SO: ”Strap on your seatbelt, cause Kansas is going bye-bye”).
The forces working against humanity on so disgustingly many other levels, are working against you here as well. Bypaths, deflecting measures of ip-adresses and all that, DO exist already and are in place, to make sure our 21st century life-line not slip through our addicted fingers, and still; Some deem the internet – or Cyberspace – the new frontier of a whole other level of war, warfare, warcraft, - and control of all mankind.
Those of us who happen to know old movies – I mean OLD – as well as science fiction, science fantasy, comics and roleplay have seen this coming for years.
It has already been mapped out, people. Ideas do not ’arrive’ from no-where – and then all of a sudden take form in our Reality. Ideas are part of our shared/ created/ defined universal Consciousness itself; so in a sense, nothing - NO THING - should come as a surprise to us.
Ahhhh Cyberspace... To so many of us still a word that holds its own sort of ’magic’, a promise of ’romance’ in the form of news from faraway places, new information, new connections, new dates, travels, new products. I am all for an internet with no cheats, and where you have a sense of protection against wackos, who want to hack everything you’ve got ’stored’ online.
But – how far should cyber security go? How deep should controlling agencies be allowed to penetrate?
And that’s a funny thing, when you notice; Everything is always already news, - and thereby already forgotten – on the internet.
Even the internet itself– as exactly that – is forgotten. Yes! I mean it! Seriously, how often do YOU think about what and how it actually is and works?
Heck, it has more in common with your so-called valuables benamed money than anything else in our equally so-called Reality (!). Some might argue, that in truth the internet does not even exist, - but you wouldn’t have to listen to them - of course – while sipping your latté and going through this newletter; those clever dudes are long since dead and recycled into – say- the Apple laptop on your --- lap.

Others are all for it! In a sense that they are so consumed – and consuming by / through it – that merely a newsletter can no-longer ’do it’ for them; they have to have a whole Second Life build in here. Hours on end .... Days drifting by... There they are – ’live’ on the net, streaming a pseudo quasi-existence into cyber-air, collecting – or rather – translating/transferring cash-codes in one bit-lingo into another.
BUT: What do legislations such as the link describes above TRULY mean? What does it entail?
I advice my reader, to take a close look at what the articles, podcasts, and so on – presented at next years conference ACTUALLY describe(!), the questions and ideas they meet to answer / further develop, and keep this definition in mind while you have it blown away...
Well, - can you say corporate – and banker – put together, you have here a perfect example with the words of Julian Assange – trust him who will / can. But a fair point he has none the less.
NO matter! I love it, - the internet. Keeps Man OCCUPIED. Keeps Man busy thinking, surfing, searching, collecting, ordering info – as He does best, while dying. And there are so many upsides with access to this technology that it’s ridiculous to mention even a few.
Hey, speaking of access – have you wondered, what or who you are online? Of course, you are aware that all information is out there – in a supposedly forever-timespan.
And your access is by means to be taken lightly – or for granted. As everything else in this world – it IS granted. Make no mistake about that!
