Look what I
found for you guys, - when I finally got down to it and recalled to blog. Since
the last exact two months. ... The reasons for
this being posted past midnight and not before as I rightfully would have,
(understanding and responding to the curious synchronicity implied in seeing
the date of my last post in here), are this
story and these

Thus, I can
truely begin this post.
These images have been carefully removed, - for whatever purposes, as well as an entire profile on Facebook recently. The imagery is interesting. Very interesting indeed. For, not only do they confront and problematize the socio-cultural connotations to the 'hunted, haunted and forsaken Jew' - an imagery and imaginary that socially led to genocide during the world wars of yore, they also mark a very interesting shift of both fate and political stanza, when juxtaposing the 'self'image of the stigmatized jewish victim with the 'actual' brutal forces that has run a course of pronounced victimizing and assaulting behaviour, that has seeped out of 'Israel' to its settlements for more than 50 years on end....

Censorship,
- or 'Deleting'- is an 'Action' --> of silencing some / -thing /-one/ message
out, a) verbally; by deleting posts, as an example, b) virtually; - by deleting
the 'persona' identified as the creator of these artistic examples of 'our
times Fin de Siecle', c) legally; by prosecution in special sensitive cases
(racial, cultural, religious etc.), - or why not call it as it is; d) in its
most extreme form of expression, by termination. DEATH, mein Damen und Herren.
That
Facebook so openly brings into our attention how certain 'points of influence' obstruct
their very means of serving as 'a social media industry', fuelled by the endless
streams of posts - of ALL kinds - with no presumed discrimination, is
interesting. Can anyone say Bilderberg? As in check this out - - have not yet
myself done any looking if any representatives actually have been spotted
there, but if Facebook is on the list - well, then one should not be surprised
by such a deletion of an outspoken artist.
....
Interesting times, indeed, this current Fin de Siecle we are now out-living and collectively experience anno 2012 ...
And being
currently absorbed - no more no less - in ravishing litterature on Fin de Siecle - Vienna
(1880-90'es - pre-First World War, with architecture, aesthetics, cityplanning, arts, culture, politics,
economy/liberalism/marxism/anti-semitism/what-not/and so-on/as well as so much
more/not to mention all the other stuff), - let it now - once again - be known:
Censorship - or rather; Control of Information/Communication-exchange between individuals - with all its implications of controlling (mass) communication in the public sphere of society - since Fin de Siecle 19th century-style, and since the world wars, when censorhip, as part of the socio-political strategy when dealing with 'movement / programming' of social behaviour on a mass scale, was
transposed and translated - in political disguise- as the wole field and line of study benamed
'Strategic Communication', 'Eocomenical Systems' and other various terms of lingo, is HERE to STAY.
